I grew up in a church that believed in miracles, but I rarely ever saw them happen—and they certainly never happened through my hands. I believed that sometimes it's God's will to heal, sometimes it isn't, and it just so happens that every time I try, it isn't.

In 2009, there was a husband and wife in my church who were both diagnosed with cancer. The husband was miraculously healed, but the wife died of her illness.

It wrecked me.

I had a lot of questions.

And I decided at that time that perhaps I didn't know as much about healing ministry as I thought I did.

I decided to read nothing but the four Gospels and the book of Acts in search of answers. My primary pursuit: What conclusions would a first-century believer draw from the text, without all the excuses I had been taught to explain the powerlessness of my Christianity? (I like to say, I had developed a rather complicated theology to make myself comfortable with my lack of results.)

I brought all my questions. I wrestled with the truth of the Scriptures. And three months later, I emerged with a conviction that God actually wants to heal everyone, and He wants to use every believer to do it (not just a select few).

I still had never seen a miracle, but I preached the message to the teens I was pastoring in my youth group. That night I saw my first miracle, and the rest is history. That was August 2009.

In April 2011, I started traveling as a full-time itinerant minister. That October, I took my first international trip, journeying to the bush of Uganda. There I witnessed countless miracles, but the greatest lesson of all was that the Lord taught me to trust the people. Rather than trying to be "the guy on stage" and personally ministering to everyone, I simply taught about healing ministry and let the believers minister to each other.

The results were powerful. Scores of miracles and salvations as the Holy Spirit did the work.

I filled my journal with 95 pages of testimonies from only 17 days there. My experience set the course for my ministry ever since.

In 2014, I produced the movie Paid in Full—a film that not only shows miracles and shares testimonies but also trains the viewer to minister healing in Jesus' name. This led to TV appearances on Sid Roth's It's Supernatural and Daniel Kolenda's Christ for All Nations.

Soon I was traveling most weekends, preaching the gospel and training believers around the world to know God, share their faith, and minister healing wherever they go.

I've now ministered the gospel in over 20 countries and taught about God's will to heal for well over a decade. I've been in some meetings where every single person testified to being healed (again, not as I laid hands on them, but as the believers ministered to each other in Jesus' name).
