Sometimes we read things in the Bible and we either don't believe them or we say, "That was nice for those people back then, but that doesn't happen today."

In chapter 2 of the book of Acts, 120 believers were gathered together waiting for the promise of the Holy Spirit when God sent the sound of a mighty rushing wind that filled the whole house. At that point, they saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. Do you think this sort of thing was only meant for that little group 2000 years ago? Guess again!

I've got to believe the testimonies of these people. There are multiple witnesses, recorded evidence, and observable results. Watch the people cry as they listen to the recording, remembering what took place.

Once while I was leading music at Northville Christian, a mysterious wind swept over the top of the piano where I was seated and blew all the sheet music off my stand. Even my hair moved in the wind. This happened right at the end of a song in which we called on God to send His Spirit. It was incredibly humbling.

I was one of the main worship leaders at that church for more than 2 years, and I played piano almost every week; but I never experienced anything like that before or since. It couldn't have been an air conditioner or open door--none of those things were any different than any other week I had been there.

As it turns out, I had the same reaction as the people in this video. I started to weep right there on the stage. I was humbled. I couldn't figure out why God would grace me with such a sign. I still look back on that day in awe of God and His love. And from the looks of this video, this small church feels the same way.

Ask the Lord to reveal Himself in your everyday life--not simply for the sake of goosebumps or butterflies in your stomach but for transformation. Ask Him to transform your world, transform your heart, and transform your mind by revealing His love and power to you today!
